ABOUT REGISTRATION FEES, SCHOLARSHIPS, AND REDUCED FEES

Mental health professionals licensed to practice in Kansas and wish to receive CEU credits for their attendance at the October 27th seminar in Kansas City begin their registration by choosing one of the three following options.
Full Day (7 CEU CREDITS) - $80.00; Morning (3 CEU CREDITS) - $50.00; Afternoon (4 CEU CRDITS) - $60.00

The same fees apply if you choose to attend via the internet, i.e., if you choose to attend the webinar. If you wish to attend, but do not want to receive CEU credit, you may register as a member of the public; you will receive the same information, but we will not be able to award CEU credits. If you feel the need for a scholarship or a reduced fee, phone 913-302-6176 to discuss arrangements.

OPTION FIVE: TO REGISTER WITH A CHECK, DO THE FOLLOWING--

  1. Write the check payable to the INSTITUTE FOR KANSAS FORENSIC EXAMINERS;
  2. Attach a note or mark the check with the name(s) of the person(s) who will be attending the July 17th presentation and want CEU credits; be certain your note provides us we need to make direct contact with the individual will be attending, e.g., an email address and/or a phone number; the Institute needs this information to distribute handouts;

ABOUT FORMS OF ATTENDANCE--PHYSICAL OR VIRTUAL
You may attend this presentation in the traditional way by being physically present in the room on October 27th, but you also have the opportunity to attend via the a "virtual presence." The Institute has formatted this program into a Webinar and the Institute provides the same CEU credit for your "virtual presence" as we would for your physical presence. The major difference between attending physically and attending virtually is when you will receive your CEU certificate. If you attend physically, you will receive your certificate when you walk out of the room at the end of the program; if you attend virtually, you will receive your certificate by email after you complete the evaluation form and the Institute receives the completed form. Be aware the Webinar service is limited to the first 100 registrants who request the service.

ONSITE REGISTRATION WILL BE AVAILABLE FROM 8:00 A TO 9:00 A AND 12:00 N TO 1:00 P. RATES FOR ONSITE REGISTRATION ARE MORNING SESSIONS = $60.00, AFTERNOON SESSION = $70.00, ALL SESSIONS (FULL DAY) = $90.00. NO REFUND IS AVAILABLE FOR ONSITE REGISTRATION.

ABOUT OUR CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

The Institute will accept your cancellation until October 16th. We set that date because the next day, October 17th, we begin distributing handouts to those who have registered. If you have registered with a credit card via PayPal, the Institute will refund your payment minus the PayPal fee, which is $2.62 for an $80.00 payment. If you registered with a credit card via phone, the Institute will refund your payment minus the Square fee, which is $2.95 for an $80.00 payment. If you registered with a check, the Institute will return your payment in full. Beginning October 17th the Institute will accept no cancellations and offer no refunds. The Institute applies the same policy to itself with one major exception. If the Institute finds it necessary to cancel the October 27th program and you have registered with a credit card via PayPal, the Institute will refund your registration fee minus the PayPal charge; if you registered with a credit card via a phone call, the Institute will refund your registration fee minus the Square charge; if you registered with a check, the Institute will refund your fee in toto. The major exception is that the October 17th limitation does not apply to the Institute: if you cancel on or before October 17th, your fee will be refunded; if the Institute cancels at any time--before or after October 17th--your fee will be refunded.
